The Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center (MAARC). MAARC is a 501c3 founded in 2018 with a vision of creating a No Kill environment in Alcoa and Maryville. MAARC’s founding principle was, and is, to find every animal a safe, happy forever home.

• Are a true grassroots rescue
• Currently operate on a 100% volunteer basis
• Currently operate with an annual budget of under $200,000
• Make every effort to avoid euthanasia by following the Best Friends Animal Society no kill practices and the No Kill Equation
• Pull animals from the city shelter and care for them until they are adopted.

In the past year the organization served over 570 dogs and cats.

This is why we are asking for your help.

On October 22, 2021, we are hosting a Masquerade Ball fundraiser at the historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Maryville. Our goal is to raise $25,000 that will be used to house local homeless animals, provide their vet care, and to spay and neuter every animal that passes through our doors.

We will be raising money during the event in a variety of ways including silent auction and online auction.

Individual or Group Tickets

  • Individual Tickets will be $75
  • Table of 8 $500

Your organization can also amplify our fundraising efforts by being an event Corporate Sponsor.

In this role, your business chooses the Tier of Sponsorship you prefer (listed below). In turn, MAARC promotes your involvement in various ways.

The Tiers of Sponsorship are:

  • Animal Angel $5,000
  • Animal Guardian $2,500
  • Animal Steward $1,000

When you decide to partner with us at the Masquerade Ball, we are sure to reach our goal, serve Blount County well, and save the lives of countless dogs and cats.

Will you partner with MAARC to decrease the pet overpopulation problems and increase the number of second chances we, together, can give our community’s animals?
