Masquerade Ball 2024
Join the Maryville Alcoa Animal Rescue Center for our fourth annual Masquerade Ball at the Capital Theatre on October 18th at 6:00 PM presented by the Lawson Family Foundation.
The Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center (MAARC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2018 to create a No-Kill environment in Alcoa and Maryville. MAARC’s founding principle was and is to find every animal a safe, happy, forever home. At MAARC, we:
• Are a true grassroots rescue
• Currently operate on a 100% volunteer basis
• Currently operate with an annual budget of under $200,000
• Make every effort to avoid euthanasia by following the Best Friends Animal Society no-kill practices and the No Kill Equation
• Pull animals from the city shelter and care for them until they are adopted.
The organization has served over 440 dogs and cats in the past year. This is why we are asking for your help. Our goal is to raise $35,000, which will be used to house local homeless animals, provide their vet care, and spay and neuter every animal that passes through our doors. We will raise money during the event through various means, including silent and online auctions.
