Hi Friends, I’m Socks. Don’t judge, my beautiful lower legs stand out too much and the Creatives around here just couldn’t resist. Here are some other fun facts about me I think you need to know: -I’m around 1-2 years old and a sweet lab-ish mix -Not to brag, but the volunteers around here say they love me lots and always want to sit down after a walk and ask me for hugs. -I get along well with other dogs but it’s always a good idea to meet new siblings/roommates before I move in! -I’m neutered and all vaccinated and ready to go for the bargain price of $55! To learn more about me, call/text Al at 865-221-5767 or Lisa at 865-310-2599 or you can apply online at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt. ... See MoreSee Less

Here is some more about me in case you’re the one for me: 💖I’m friendly with humans and canines alike. I can be tested with cats if you have one💖I’m a medium-sized dog, around 50 pounds and around 2-3 years old💖I’m neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations💖My $55 adoption fee gets you a new family member, endless puppy kisses and more! To learn more about me, call/text Al at 865-221-5767 or Lisa at 865-310-2599 or you can apply online at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt. ... See MoreSee Less

Hey… Red Rover, Red Rover, Send my new owner right over….. Is that you? I mean, I’m not exactly red, but you can come on over and meet me! Here are 4 Facts about your boy, Rover: 🔴I’m about 1-2 years old, and everybody around the shelter says I’m “a really good boy” and LOVES to squeeze me tight when they hug me!!🔴Unfortunately, I’m probably better suited for a 1-dog household. I really like my humans all to myself. 🔴I’m neutered and up-to-date on all my vaccines and ready to meet my new family! 🔴My $55 adoption fee covers all of that, and I’ll even let you squeeze me real hard every time you hug me, too! To learn more about me, call/text Al at 865-221-5767 or Lisa at 865-310-2599 or you can apply online at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt. ... See MoreSee Less

Sammy has entered a foster home, where he is affectionately called "Sonny." His foster is a vet tech who took care of him at UT. He still has orders for crate rest for 6 to 8 WEEKS.

Currently, his UT Veterinary bill is around $3k. We are halfway there but only expect it to continue to rise. Please consider donating even $5 to help us afford his medical care.

**FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME NEEDED FOR SPECIAL NEEDS **FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME NEEDED FOR SPECIAL NEEDS KITTY**

Casio here, with another bio update cuz my situation has changed yet again. If you recall, I came into the shelter as a feral (hence my way cool ear tip), and after a few months I started to enjoy the pets and coos the folks here have been giving me (not to mention the yummy noms). Then, a couple times they noticed that my kennel looked like the aftermath of a frat party, but it wasn't until one of the volunteers found me in the midst of a seizure that they understood why. Turns out, I'm epileptic and now that I'm on meds to keep them at bay I'm feeling (and acting) much better. The thing is, I need them every 10-12 hours so that's why I'm hoping to find a foster or adoptive home sooner rather than later so I can be monitored more closely. So if you've got some room in your home and your heart for a purrty "special needs" gal, contact us at (865) 599-7304 to set up a meet and greet. You can also make a donation to my ongoing medical care on our website (link in bio). Thanks for listening!
