😺🖤 JERRY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🖤😺As you already know, I’m Jerry, the dark and curious one - my brother Tom being the dark and silent one...well, now he thinks he’s the official greeter of the free roam room so he ain’t so silent anymore so I no longer have to speak for him. Our previous owner passed away, which is how we ended up here, but we kinda like being around other cool cats now. We’ve gone from littermates to bunkmates to best mates so if you’re looking for a coupla housemates, we’re your guys! Just fill out an application at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt or call/text Jenn at 865-599-7304 if you wanna meet. That's all folks! ... See MoreSee Less

😺🖤 TOM IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🖤😺Tom here, the former dark and silent one. Now that my brother Jerry and I have joined the other cool cats in the free roam room, I’ve come outta my shell. In fact, I’m now the (self-appointed) unofficial greeter at the door! We’re both super chill dudes and nothing like our cartoon namesakes. Our backstory isn’t all that unique - our human passed away and his family couldn’t take us so they brought us here. We’ve gone from littermates to bunkmates to best mates so if you’re looking for a coupla housemates, we’re your guys! Just fill out an application at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt or contact us at (865) 599-7304 if you wanna meet. That's all folks! ... See MoreSee Less

😺🫖 CHAMOMILE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - CURRENT PETSMART RESIDENT 🫖😺Guess what? I’m no longer a special needs kitty!!!! My diabetes is in full remission (hopefully furever) and I’m feeling simply pawsome! Gotta admit tho, I got used to being loved on 24/7 in my foster home so readjusting to kennel life isn’t exactly what I had in mind for the next part of my journey. But at least I have a room with a view here at PetSmart where people watching is my new favorite form of entertainment. While I still can’t guarantee I’ll reduce stress like the flower extract I’m named after, I can say I’m a great lap warmer, biscuit maker and all around purrfect companion kitty (so long as I’m your *one and only* kitty - don't mind docile dogs tho). So just contact Cheryl at (865) 755-5392 or fill out an application at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt to place your order for one Chamomile to go! ... See MoreSee Less

😼💦 LONDON IS AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION 💦😼London came under our care last fall, a victim of animal cruelty, negligence and abandonment. All 4 of her paws had been inhumanely declawed, leaving her defenseless outside as a 12 year old stray. Understandably, this lead to her being both food motivated and aggressive and also makes her temperament difficult to assess. She was also diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and hyperthyroid and is on daily transdermal medication for the latter. London has her moments where she allows us to pet and groom her, but it's clear she is a very unhappy cat at the shelter. We believe she will fare much better in a foster home with no young children or pets, and someone who can be patient with her and help us determine what kind of cat she truly is in a home environment. Please contact us at (865) 273-3751 or fill out an application at www.maarcadopt.org/foster if you are willing to give this senior girl a chance, or call/text Jenn at 865-599-7304.*London’s adoption fee is sponsored. ... Hey there! I'm Misty and I'm what they're calling Hey there! I'm Misty and I'm what they're calling a "reformed feral", but I truth be told I never really was feral. I was a total scaredy-cat when cuz I wasn't used to being inside someplace 24/7, especially in a small kennel, so I got a bit hissy with the staff. See, my sissy Si and I (try saying that 5 times fast) belonged to a homeless woman who loved us dearly but couldn't take her with us when she finally found a nice place to live. We spent our first couple months hiding under our bed, until one night I got bold and hung around one until of the cleaning ladies noticed me. She was so happy and said, "Well, look at you! You're so pretty! And you have only half a tail!" (which I proudly show off whenever I get back scritches). Long story short, we're now hanging out in the free room with a couple other kitties, and while we do tend to keep to ourselves, it doesn't take much to coax out for pets and cuddles. So if you're looking for a couple laid-back kitties, we're you're girls! Just fill out an application on our website www.maarcadopt.org/adopt or call/text Jenn at (865) 599-7304 to set up a time to meet us. (**NOTE: The adoption fees for Misty and Si are being sponsored by one of our volunteers.**)

**SENIOR KITTY NEEDS A FUREVER HOME** It is I, the **SENIOR KITTY NEEDS A FUREVER HOME** It is I, the lovely Jocasta, who has yet again defied the odds and made a somewhat miraculous return from fospice! You may recall it was touch and go for me when I arrived here at the shelter, all skin and bones and matted fur. I was quite a sight! But after 8 months and far too many vet visits and blood tests, my health issues have stabilized and all I need now is food that is gentle on my tummy and a quiet home with someone (or someones) who will let me curl up in their lap and love me for the rest of my lives (I believe I still have one or two of those left...). So if you have a soft spot for mature ladies like myself, contact Stephanie at (865) 985-1543 or fill out an application at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt cuz I'm a little hard of hearing.
***SPECIAL NEEDS SENIOR KITTY STILL NEEDS A FUREVE ***SPECIAL NEEDS SENIOR KITTY STILL NEEDS A FUREVER HOME*** Hi there everyone! Little Miss Harley Quinn here with an update on what's been going on with me. I've been living with my amazing foster mom since the holidays and she's been very good to me and especially attentive to my health. Being a feline of a "certain age", I am prone to having the same issues most cats do (tummy trouble, teeth trouble, etc.) but there has been no advancement of my kidney failure so I'm still just on prescription food...which isn't my fave, to tell you the truth. I'm also not a fan of going to the vet, which turns me into a crankypants, so I'm trying real hard to avoid that. Otherwise, I'm a sweet, gentle calico gal who enjoys the simple things in life - a room with a view, a mouse dangling from a string, and a warm lap to nestle into. Now that I'm physically stable and totally comfy in a home environment, I'm ready to move onto a furever home, so if you have extra room in your home and your heart, please contact Stephanie at (865) 985-1543 today. There's no fee to adopt me either, thanks to a kind supporter of MAARC, but you can also contribute to my medical care by going to https://maarcadopt.org/monetary-donations. Thanks for listening to my saga!
Hey folx, Herman here. With my good looks, tall la Hey folx, Herman here. With my good looks, tall lanky stature, winning smile, and wild fur covering half of my face I look more like I belong in an 80’s rock band. But no such luck, instead it’s 2023 and I’m barking out tunes at the local shelter. This is the part where you think ‘Oh he’s so cute! Maybe we should go adopt him.’ Listen to that inner voice, you should definitely come adopt me! Even if I can’t realize my full potential of being in an 80’s rock band, cause let’s face it my great great great grandfather hadn’t even been thought of, I can still lead an amazing life being your best friend in the world! Here’s my deets: I’m about 2 years old with a super fun smiley grinning wildly goofy personality. I’m up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped. I’m good with people and other dogs, and I can be tested with cat-friendly dogs. Call/text Al at 865-221-5767 or Lisa at 865-310-2599 or you can apply online at www.maarcadopt.org/adopt.
